I used to be a super reactive parent. I woke up almost every morning angry and resentful. I would yell at my kids when they didn’t listen and then cry after I put them to bed because I felt like a complete failure as a mom.

I didn’t know how to have conversations with their dad. I wanted him to behave differently. I was triggered by everything he did and said. I blamed him for everything that wasn’t going the way I wanted.

I decided it was time to take ownership over my life. I decided it was time to stop playing the victim and step fully into who I wanted to be.
